The very worst police department, comprised of the utmost lazy, useless, and sad excuses for public safety and enforcement I have ever witnessed!!!!! It makes me sick to my stomach to know that our hard earned money as citizens of this city in part is going to pay their salaries, when these so called "peace officer's " have so unjustifiably earned it!! As a citizen of this city for the last 40yrs I have yet to have them come to my aid when called during a time of need, with their response always the same " we won't/don't do that and we are not coming ". All I could think was if I was this worthless at my job I wouldn't have one, and neither should they! In conclusion don't bother calling them for help they don't care and they are not coming

Initially called to get information. Was given everything I needed. Had to call back to request an officer. He was dispatched right away. No issues during this event.
There was a " high school " party going on with obviously teenagers make loud noise underage drinking. I call was on hold for about 10 minutes. A cop drove by 30 later and just literally drove by this young kids in the street disturbing the houses on my street. I had to call again only to be ignored. The worst police station I have ever delt with.
On each occasion that we reported a crime there was a timely followup by an officer and recently they were able to identify and prosecute at tagger that had repeatedly tagged our building causing thousands of dollars in damages.
Frankly, I would not want to be a police officer these days with the high level of disrespect for the men and women of law enforcement. The general public treats them like dirt until they need them and then still treat them with disrespect. Next time you see a police officer take time to thank them for the job that they do!
Our business has been repeatedly vandalized and burglarized over the past eight years. each time we have contacted UPD and have always been treated with respect and an attitude of helpfulness by the staff. On visits to the PD we were always treated with the utmost courtesy and interest in whatever we were there for.
